Jim Burnett - Senior Pastor:

I am blessed to be married to my wife Kim Boutwell Burnett for over 25 years now. We have three children: Brandon, Nathan, and Emily.

I have pastored four churches in my twenty-one year tenure as a minister. Currently I serve as senior pastor of one of the greatest New Testament Churches on planet earth: Willow Pointe Church. God is doing an awesome work here and we are having the time of our lives.

Shortly after committing my life to Christ and answering the call to full-time ministry, I attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, receiving my Master of Divinity in 1988. I returned several years later to earn a Doctorate of Ministry in 1997.

Horseback riding, hunting, gardening, and writing are my hobbies. My favorite place in the world is the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, specifically Cades Cove, where we make our yearly pilgrimage. My all time favorite movie is "It's a Wonderful Life". My favorite actor is Jimmy Stewart.

My most precious possession is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Chris Thomas - Associate Pastor/Missions Minister:
Chris has served as Associate/Missions Pastor since June 2011. This came after and as a result of 20 years in youth ministry and working with at-risk teens. As Missions Pastor, Chris now leads Willow Pointe Church in her efforts of being on mission for Christ. He also assists in coordinating the church's discipleship strategy as well as the Celebrate Recovery ministry.

Brad Day
- Worship/Associate Pastor:
Brad has served several South MS churches over the past 18 years. He holds a Bachelor of Music from William Carey University in Music Education. In 2001, Brad received a Master of Divinity in Worship Leadership from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Brad came to Willow Pointe in February of 2011 and currently teaches Jr. High History at Dixie Attendance Center in the Forrest County school district where his son Andrew also attends.

On the side, Brad teaches private music lessons (voice, guitar, and trumpet) and finds time to squeeze in a golf game or two.

Heather Foster - Children's Minister:

Hi! My name is Heather Foster and I am serving as your Children's Minister.  I am also a Kindergarten and First grade teacher here in Oak Grove. I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and moved to Hattiesburg in 2004. God has blessed me with a  passion for children. I love teaching them, working with them and learning from them.

Sally Gorbett - Business Administrator:

After early retirement from Hospital Products Division of Abott Laboratories in Houston, TX in 1988, Sally relocated to Hattiesburg to be nearer to her daughter and family. For the past 22 years she has served in two churches; as Financial Secretary in the first, and now as Business Administrator at Willow Pointe. She manages the day to day financial and business aspects of the church. Her ministries include coordinating the Hospitality Ministry, Planning and decorating for fellowships, meetings, etc. and the decorations/furnishings for the church.
