Celebrate Recovery The purpose of Willow Point Church's Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and the Christ-centered 12 steps. The experience allows us to be changed as we open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with other group members in a safe place where confidentiality standards are adhered to. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life problems. By working the Christ-centered steps and applying their biblical principles found in the Beatitudes, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from out addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. Newcomers are welcome to join the weekly meetings at any time during the year, but step study groups are arranged to meet the needs of the individual participant. As we progress through the principles and the steps, we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ. Thursday Night Schedule: 6:00-6:30 p.m. - Fellowship Meal 6:30-6:35 p.m.- Welcome/Announcements 6:35-6:45 p.m. - Praise and worship 6:45 - 12 Steps/8 Principles 6:45-7:15 - Lesson/Large Group 7:15 - Serenity Prayer 7:15-8:00 - Small Group 8:00 - 8:45 - Step Study + 8:45 - Dismiss.
